SOMWARPET: Rama Sethu Raksha Samiti Mangalore division convener Seetharam called upon people to join hands together to save Rama Sethu.

Addressing the gathering during the Rama Sethu Shila Rath Yatra taken out in the main streets of Somwarpet on Monday, he said; “agitation is necessary to save the ancient monument.”

A Yajna was performed at Someshwara temple before the procession. Former MLA M P Appachu Ranjan, Virakta Mutt pontiff Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji, former district BJP chief S G Medappa, taluk BJP president S B Bharat Kumar, Sangh Parivar leaders Mohan Das, Subhash, K S Padmanabha and others were present.

Ram Sila Yatra – To create wave in Kerala

Kochi: The Rama Sethu Sila Rathayathra, being taken out as part of the agitation demanding protection of the Rama Sethu started Today at Kanghangad in Kasargode and will start Tommorow from Thiruvananthapuram. The State wide campaign will conclude on December 9th at Ernakulam.
The Ram Sila Yatra cover all Districts in Kerala, More than 600 public meetings are organised as part of this to create awareness among publilc about the anti hindu attitude of UPA.
The Floating stones brought from Dhanushkodi will be the main attraction of the campaign. Thousands of devotees will get a chance to have a glimpse of those holy stones.Spiritual, Social and Cultural leaders will lead the Yatra all over the state. Thousands of delegates from Kerala will participate in the Mahasammelan at New Delhi on December 30th.Swami Ayyapadas, K..Madanan, V.K.Viswanathan, and K.PHaridas were present during the press meet.
